OPDIVO as monotherapy or in combination with ipilimumab is indicated for the treatment of advanced (unresectable or metastatic) melanoma in adults.

  • Bei der vorliegenden Bewertung handelt es sich um die Nutzenbewertung des Arzneimittels Opdivo mit dem Wirkstoff Nivolumab in einem neuen Anwendungsgebiet:
  • „Opdivo ist in Kombination mit Ipilimumab bei Erwachsenen für die Behandlung des fortgeschrittenen (nicht resezierbaren oder metastasierten) Melanoms indiziert.“
  • Der GBA differenziert in diesem Anwendungsgebiet Patientenpopulationen nach dem Vorliegen einer Vorbehandlung. Die nicht vorbehandelten Patienten werden zusätzlich nach dem BRAF-V600-Mutationsstatus unterschieden.
  • Als zweckmäßige Vergleichstherapie für nicht vorbehandelte Patienten mit einem BRAF-V600-Mutation-positiven Melanom wurden Vemurafenib oder Vemurafenib + Cobimetinib oder Dabrafenib + Trametinib bestimmt.
  • Für nicht vorbehandelte Patienten mit einem BRAF-V600-Mutation-positiven Melanom ist der Zusatznutzen von Nivolumab in Kombination mit Ipilimumab gegenüber der zweckmäßigen Vergleichstherapie nicht belegt, da vom pharmazeutischen Unternehmer keine Studie vorgelegt wurde, die für eine Bewertung des Zusatznutzens gegenüber der zweckmäßigen Vergleichstherapie geeignet gewesen wäre.
